Medicaid & Life
Probate & Trust Administration
After a long life of work and living, it seems that reaching your later years should be a time of simplicity and enjoyment, but this is rarely the case. The intense, complicated demands of estate planning, Medicaid planning, affording any assisted living or nursing home services you might need and other complications can cause a great deal of stress for people as they grow older.
At Garland Law Offices, P.A., we provide a range of elder law and estate planning services for clients reaching their twilight years. Gary B. Garland, Manalapan estate planning attorney, has been representing clients with these and other legal matters in New York and New Jersey for more than 20 years. As one of less than 45 certified elder law attorneys* in New York or New Jersey, Attorney Garland is uniquely qualified and experienced.
We help clients with a variety of estate planning and other elder law matters, including:
“I’m lucky a top-quality lawyer took the time to help me understand my estate issues.” — Howard, Staten Island
Because estate and other elder law matters can be so personal and so complex for people, we never forget how important it is to give our clients the best service we can. When you work with Garland Law Offices, P.A., you and your family are our most important concern.
We offer phone and in-office consultations. If you need legal assistance with estate planning, estate administration, Medicaid planning or other elder law matters, call (732) 972-6700 in New Jersey, or (212) 685-6629 in New York.
Would Use Again
Gary Garland put my family at ease when we had to do some estate planning. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable, organized and trustworthy and was able to explain everything in language a layperson could understand. I would recommend him to anyone and would use him again in a heartbeat.

Have referred to many of my clients
I am a Fee based Financial Planner and have utilized Gary with many clients. All legal drafts are reviewed by our Lawyers prior to clients executing. He is the only Lawyer that, to date, our Lawyers have not offered edits on. The only comment has been that his documents are the most comprehensive they have seen.
Sometimes clients insist on using their own Attorney. My experience has been that if their concentration is not in Estate Planning the level of work is not as good and it is difficult working with them. This is serious business where a missed opportunity in your planning could cost your heirs dearly. You also have to consider the unintentional/accidental disinheritance of a family member, especially with second marriages. Clients love him, his explanations are sometimes visual and always easy to comprehend.
